Gregorio Bermeosolo
Gregorio Bermeosolo, Sr., 94, born in Ereño, Spain and former longtime resident of Winnemucca, Nev., passed away quietly in his home while surrounded by family on March 21, 2014 after complications from a serious pulmonary infection, in Sparks, Nev.

Gregorio immigrated to this country in 1959, after fighting for Basque rights during the fascist regime of Francisco Franco during the Spanish Civil War and came to Nevada and quickly gained employment on the many ranches throughout northern Nevada. Gregorio's kind and generous heart and enormous sense of humor will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Private graveside services will be held for the family on Friday, April 4 at the city of Winnemucca Cemetery, at Gregorio's request. Arrangements for cremation and internment have been made with the assistance of Walton's Funeral Home in Reno, Nev.
