The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



April 22

A female tan Chihuahua was picked up on Mars.

A male chocolate Lab mix was picked up on Indian Court.



April 24

A white collie mix was dropped at shelter.

A male black Lab was picked up on E. 2nd Street.

April 27

A red female Vizsla was picked up on Julie Court. *Reclaimed

A male tan and white pit bull was picked up on Grass Valley Road.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, three have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.



If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at 623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
