The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



May 14

A male gray and white pit bull was dropped at the shelter.

May 16

A female brown and white German Shorthair Pointer was a surrender. *Adopted

A female brown and white German Shorthair Pointer was a surrender.

May 17

A female chocolate Lab was picked up at French Ford Middle School. *Reclaimed

A male black and white Husky was picked up on W. Thomas Canyon. *Reclaimed

A female tri-colored Basset was picked up on W. Thomas Canyon. *Reclaimed

May 18

A male black and white Boston terrier was picked up on Sunny Drive. *Reclaimed

A male tri-colored Basset Hound was picked up on 4th & Melarkey. *Reclaimed

May 19

A male black and tan German Shepherd was picked up on 6th St. *Reclaimed

A female black and tan German Shepherd was picked up on 6th St. *Reclaimed

A female tri-colored Shepherd mix was picked up on Teal.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, seven have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
