The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



Sept. 23

A female spayed yellow Lab was dropped off at the shelter.

A male black and white Border Collie was picked up on Reins Way. *Reclaimed



Sept. 24

A female gold Pomeranian/Chihuahua was dropped off at the shelter.

A male neutered tri color Mini Aussie was picked up on Germain. *Reclaimed

Sept. 25

A male red and white Border Collie was picked up on Grass Valley Road.



Sept. 27

A female black Border Collie was dropped off at the shelter.

A female spayed red and white Pit was dropped off at the shelter.

A female red Border Collie was picked up on Grass Valley Road.

A male liver-colored Golden Shepherd was picked up on 5th St. *Reclaimed



Sept. 28

A male neutered Poodle/Lab was picked up on East Winnemucca Boulevard.



Sept. 29

A female white and black Border Collie/Pit was picked up on Melarkey at Dancing Bear.

A female black and white Pit was picked up on Lonnie Lane.

A male tan and white Pit was picked up on Lonnie Lane.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, four have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
