The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



Nov. 18

A female gold and black Shihtzu was picked up on E. 2nd St.

A male tricolored German Sheperd/Grayhound/Husky was a surrender. *Adopted

A female brindle and white Pit was picked up on Minor St. *Reclaimed

Nov. 22

A male yellow Terrier was dropped at shelter.

Nov. 23

A female black and white Border Collie was dropped at shelter.

Of the dogs impounded since the last report, four have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
