The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



April 28

A male tri colored Border Collie/Corgi was picked up on Allen Rd.

A male black and white Hound mix was picked up on Mizpah. *Reclaimed

A chocolate & white Lab mix was picked up on Mizpah. *Reclaimed



May 1

A male yellow Lab mix was picked up on Pearce.

A male black and white Pit/Lab was a surrender.



May 2

A female black and white Border Collie was a surrender.

A male red Chow was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. *Reclaimed

A male brown black & white Pit was dropped at shelter.



May 4

A male white and black Border Collie mix was picked up on Bridge St. *Reclaimed

A male white and black Border Collie was picked up on Melarkey St. *Reclaimed



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, five have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at 623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
