The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

May 18

A male white and tan Terrier mix was picked up on 2nd Street. *Reclaimed

May 19

A male tan Pit-Boxer mix was picked up on Moon Lane.

May 21

A female white Poodle was picked up on Elm St.

May 23

A male black Lab-Heeler mix was surrendered to the shelter.

May 24

A neutered male silver and tan Yorkie was picked up on Cloudburst. *Reclaimed

A spayed female black and white Lab mix was picked up on Cloudburst. *Reclaimed

A female yellow Lab and a male yellow Lab were surrendered to the shelter.

Of the dogs impounded since the last report, five have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
