The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



May 26

A male white and fawn Boxer was picked upon Harmony & was a surrender. *Adopted



May 27

A female cream Wire Hair Terrier was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. & Westmoreland.

A male yellow Lab mix was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. & Westmoreland. *Reclaimed

A female red and white Border Collie was dropped at shelter.

A female brindle Curr was dropped at shelter.



May 30

A female white and tri colored Terrier mix was a surrender. *Adopted

May 31

A male black and white Malamute was picked up on Old Jungo Rd. *Reclaimed

A female black and white Pit mix was picked up on Old Jungo Rd.



June 1

A female tan and white Shi tzu was dropped at shelter. *Reclaimed

A male brindle and white Mastiff was picked up on Pearce. *Reclaimed



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, four have been reclaimed by their owners and two were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
