The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



April 9

A male white/tan Papillion mix was picked up on Hanson.



A male gold/white pit mix was picked up on Hanson/Minor.



April 10

A male brown/white Chihuahua mix was picked up on McArthur.

A female black/white Pomeranian mix was dropped of at the shelter.

A male black/white Pomeranian mix was dropped of at the shelter.

A male black/white Pomeranian mix was dropped of at the shelter.

A male black/white Pomeranian mix was dropped of at the shelter.

A male tri-color Rat Terrier mix was picked up at Torrey.



April 11

A female gray Schnauzer mix was picked up on W. National/Reinhart.



April 13

A male brindle/white boxer/border collie was picked up on Water Canyon Road.

A female red lab/pit was picked up on Haskell/Melarkey *Reclaimed.

A female gold/white Chihuahua mix was dropped off at the shelter.

April 14

A female red boxer mix was picked up at Cattle.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, one has been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.



If you are looking for a canine friend to adopt, please call us at 623-6403. Dogs are available for viewing every day from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
