The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



April 15

A male black chow was picked up on Rose Creek.

A male white and black heeler mix was picked up on Mary Way.

A liver male German Short Haired Pointer was picked up on Mobly Ranch Road. *Reclaimed



April 16

A female white and black German Wire Haired Pointer was picked up on S. Winnemucca Blvd.



April 17

A male black and white Lab mix was picked up on Schriner. *Reclaimed

A gold male golden retriever was picked up on Circle Drive. *Reclaimed

A female black and tan German Shepherd mix was dropped at shelter.

April 18

A female tan boxer was dropped at shelter.

A white female Pomeranian was picked up on Grass Valley Road. *Reclaimed



April 20

A male black and white German Wire Haired Pointer was dropped at shelter. *Reclaimed

A female black and brindle boxer mix was dropped at shelter.



April 21

A female tan and white pit bull was a surrender.

A female red Doberman was picked up on Cloudburst.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, five have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
