The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



Oct. 14

A male brown and black Miniature Pincher was picked up on Center Street. *Adopted

A male white and red Trussie was picked up on Grass Valley Road. *Reclaimed

A male brindle Pit/Pug was picked up on Winnemucca Blvd. *Reclaimed

A male tri-colored Pomeranian/Chihuahua was picked up on Highland & Kirkway. *Reclaimed

A female white Chihuahua was picked up on Highland & Kirkway. *Reclaimed

A female black and white Border Collie was picked up on McRae.

A male chocolate Lab/Pit was a surrender.

Oct. 17

A female red Spaniel was dropped at shelter.

A male blue and white Border Collie/Blue Heeler was a surrender. *Adopted

A male black Lab mix was picked up on W 1st St.

A male black and white Aussie was picked up on S. Bridge St. *Reclaimed

A male chocolate Lab mix was picked up on Testhill. *Reclaimed

A male brown German Shorthair Pointer was picked up on Hardrock & Bonanza Dr. *Reclaimed

A male black and white Aussie was picked up on Bridge St. *Reclaimed

A male white and brown German Shorthair Pointer was picked up on Water Canyon. *Reclaimed

A female tan Temer was picked up on Cowboy Way.

Oct. 20

A male black Lab was picked up on Venis.

A male black Lab was picked up on Buffalo.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, nine have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
