Lander County Historical Society needs your help
The Historical Society is asking the community's help in choosing or generating a title for a book that will focused solely on the history of Battle Mountain. The book will be written by Dana Bennett and will be published by the Lander County Historical Society. They are also seeking photos to be used in the book of significant events, buildings and/or people. The book will cover the year approximately 1870s to the present.
Please help choose a title from the following or generate your own: "Battle Mountain: Little Town in the Heart of Nevada"; "Battle Mountain: Little Town with a Big Heart"; or "All roads lead to Battle Mountain". The deadline was the end of October for the title and the end of November for photos. Make sure each photo has your name and phone number printed on the back. Send your comments, votes or photos to P.O. Box 663, Battle Mountain, NV 89820. Call the museum at (775) 635-8548, stop by the museum on Broyles Ranch Rd, or e-mail at email@example.com.
