The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

Dec. 3

A gold male lab was picked up on Bonanza Circle.

Dec. 5

A gold and white neutered male Terrier Mix was surrendered to the shelter.

A liver and tic male German Shorthair Pointer was picked up on Park View. *Reclaimed

Dec. 6

A gray and white female Husky was picked up on Grass Valley in the school zone.

Dec. 7

A white male Husky was picked up on South Bridge Street.

A brown and black female German Shepherd was picked up on Minor Street.

Dec. 8

A white and black female Heeler mix and 10 puppies were picked up in McDermitt

Dec. 9

A black and white female Pitbull mix was surrendered to the sheltered.

Of the dogs impounded since the last report, two have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
