More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

Jan. 13

A male tan and white Pit was picked up on Ida Ave. *Reclaimed

A male gold Poodle/Chihuahua was surrendered to shelter.

A female gold Chihuahua was surrendered to shelter.

A male brown Miniature Pincher was picked up on Ida Ave. *Reclaimed

A female fawn and white Boxer was picked up on Ida Ave. *Reclaimed

Jan. 15

A male white and black Border Collie was picked up on Humboldt St.

A male black and white Pit was picked up on Lay St.

A male black Lab was picked up on Mars St.

A male gold Golden Retriever was picked up on W. Winnemucca Blvd. *Reclaimed

Jan. 17

A male black Lab was picked up on E. National.

A female brindle Lab/Pit was a surrender.

Jan. 18

A male white and red Pit mix was a surrender. *Reclaimed

A male black and white Border Collie was dropped at shelter.

A male black Lab was picked up on Mars.

A male gold Chihuahua/Pomeranian was picked up on Mars.



Of the dogs impounded since the last report, five have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
