The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.

March 10

A female black and white Pit/Boxer was a surrender.

A male black and white Springer Spaniel was picked up on E. National. *Reclaimed

March 12

A female black and tan Terrier was picked up on E. Winnemucca Blvd.

A female black Lab mix was picked up on E. National.

A male black and gray Husky mix was picked up on E. National.

March 13

A male tan and white Chihuahua/Dachshund was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. *Reclaimed

A female tri colored Chihuahua mix was picked up on Grass Valley Rd. *Reclaimed

March 14

A male yellow Lab mix was picked up on Railroad & Fountain Way. *Reclaimed

A male yellow Lab was picked up at Button Point.

A male white Poodle was picked up on Solar.

March 15

A female brindle and white Boxer was picked up on Jackson Rd.

Of the dogs impounded since the last report, four have been reclaimed by their owners and none were adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
