The following animals were recently picked up by Animal Control. More information on impounded dogs at the Sage Heights shelter is available by calling the shelter at 623-6403 or Sheriff's Dispatch at 623-6429 and leaving a message, 24 hours a day. When calling, be prepared to provide the dog's description, license number and general area in which it was lost.



May 5

A male white and gray Pit was picked up on Jupiter. *Reclaimed

A female yellow Lab was picked up on Golconda.



May 6

A male black and white Border Collie was picked up on Janet Ln. *Adopted

A male blue Pit was picked up on Bonanza Circle. *Reclaimed

A female red Pomeranian was picked up on Shepard *Reclaimed



May 7

A male black and white Shih Tzu was picked up on Wiekel. *Reclaimed

A male black and white Pit was picked up on Harmony.

A male white hair Border Collie mix was picked up on I-80.

A female sable Artic breed was picked up on I-80.

A male tri colored Shepherd mix was picked up on I-80.

Of the dogs impounded since the last report, five have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted.

Licensing is a city and county ordinance. Please license your dog. This will help us get him back to you should he become lost.
