Regional Planning Commission meets May 8
New subdivision among agenda items

Humboldt County Regional Plannning Commission will meet Thursday, May 8, at 5:30 in the upstairs meeting room at the Humboldt County Courthouse.
Agenda items include:
Street naming requests for a new proposed subdivision located at the extension of Offenhauser Drive to the east and southeast of Stuart Street. Road names include Pointer Road, Pintail Road, Mallard Road, Canvasback Way, Greenhead Street, Partridge Court, Widgen Way, Covey Court, Gadwall Road, and Pheasant Street.
A conditional use permit application submitted by Julie Wilson Key, owner of the Royal Peacock Opal Mine, Inc. requests approval for the mine, gift shop and RV park.
A special use permit application from Sierra Pacific Power Company for the installation of a 45-foot monopole with a 28-inch dish antenna and related electrical equipment at 500 West McArthur Avenue.
A subdivision map review for a three-phase subdivision to be known as Hunter Ridge. Proposed location for the new subdivision is at the Offenhauser Drive extension to the east and south of Stuart Street.
Public comment is allowed at both the beginning and end of the meeting.
