Veterans Service Officer to visit Winnemucca on Nov. 6

WINNEMUCCA - A Veterans Service Officer (VSO) will travel throughout the state allowing veterans, military personnel and family members to meet with a representative of the Nevada Office of Veterans Services (NOVS) to learn about benefits and services they may be eligible for but unaware of.
A Veterans Service Officer will be in Winnemucca on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Winnemucca Armory, 735 W. Fourth St.
Pre-scheduled appointments are suggested. Walk-in appointments are welcome but can only be seen as time permits.

Veterans are advised to bring a copy of their DD-214 discharge document and/or current VA claim(s) correspondence. If the claim involves their dependents, veterans should bring marriage and/or birth certificates as well as Social Security numbers of their dependents.
