Miles for Smiles
Miles for Smiles dental van will be at Word of Light Fellowship Church, 4505 Center St. Miles for Smiles offers full dental services to children age 18 and under. Nevada Health Centers' Miles for Smiles accepts most dental insurance plans, Medicaid and Nevada Check-Up. A sliding fee scale is available to those without insurance. Frontier Community Coalition Beverage Server Training
A free Responsible Beverage Server Training class will be held at the FCC office at 737 E. Fairgrounds Road at 9:30 a.m. The training is free for sellers and/or servers of alcoholic beverages and is funded in part by the state Substance Abuse and Prevention Treatment Agency (SAPTA) and Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL). 'This is Winnemucca'
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - The Humboldt Museum hosts 'This is Winnemucca' design to bring recognition to all that the town has to offer. We are inviting local businesses, community service groups, artists, and agencies to participate and exemplify what they're all about. This event will take place on the museum campus and will be the first to utilize the newly constructed plaza. There will be no charge for booths to display or sell items, as we would like to draw as many participants as possible. However, raffle prize donations would be greatly appreciated.
