Benefit tamale sale

The Lowry High School Travel Club is selling tamales for $18 per dozen or $9 per half dozen. Beef, pork, chicken or cheese with jalapeno are available. Muddy Angels Memorial Ride Fundraiser

4 p.m. to 7 p.m.-Chihuahua's Grill & Cantina will host a fundraising enchilada dinner for the HGH EMS Rescue members who will participate in the Muddy Angels Memorial Ride in May. The team is riding in memory of EMT Christian Echevarria, who passed away in January of this year. Tickets are $10 each (under 2 free with paid adult). There will also be a raffle of a 32" Sony flat screen TV, a $50 gift certificate to the Winnemucca Inn, and two Weber Smoky Joe BBQ grills donated by Marigold, among many other prizes. All proceeds from the fundraiser go to the Muddy Angels Memorial Fund, which benefits families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty.
