The Lowry High School Travel Club is selling tamales for $18 per dozen or $9 per half dozen. Beef, pork, chicken or cheese with jalapeno are available. Bariatric Support Group
6 p.m. - Humboldt General Hospital's Bariatric Support Group will meet in the Sonoma Conference Room, and all pre-op and post-op gastric bypass and lap-band patients are invited to attend. Facilitated by HGH Director of Social Services Laura Nelson. Those considering bariatric surgery as well as those who have undergone the procedure will find encouragement and support. Fallon Naval Sea Cadets
Fallon Naval Sea Cadets is a non- profit youth program designed to educate youth from ages 11-17 about the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Education includes military bearing, marching, physical training, courtesy, responsibility, and much more. Many opportunities are available for advanced training. Meetings are one weekend a month at the Naval Air Station in Fallon. Volunteers, both ex-military and civilian are needed for instructors and chaperones. Free resistance exercise class
Each Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. a resistance exercise class is held at the Humboldt County Senior Center.
