RENO — Annaleise Gabica was named to the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Liberal Arts Dean’s List for the Fall 2017 semester.

To be selected for this honor, a student must be a declared major in the College of Liberal Arts, complete at least 12 credits for a letter grade during the semester and earn a grade point average of 3.7 or higher for the semester.

By meeting this criteria, Annaleise has been placed among the top students.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — U.S. Air Force Airman Harry B. Hartzog graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Hartzog earned distinction as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Tammy L. Hartzog of Sitka, Alaska, and Harry S. Hartzog of Winnemucca.

The airman is a 2017 graduate of Sitka High School, Sitka, Alaska.
