Ada Lorene Brinkerhoff
Ada Lorene Brinkerhoff
On February 14, 2019, Ada Lorene Brinkerhoff returned home to her Heavenly Father, joining her loving parents and siblings, Jack and Pete Sneddon and Helen Walton.

She was surrounded by her husband and seven children at the time of her passing.

Lorene was born in Ogden, Utah on February 18, 1935 to Jesse Burdett Sneddon and Ada Knowles.

They moved to Sparks, Nevada when Lorene was nine years old.  She graduated from Sparks High School in 1952.

She attended Brigham Young University.  She met and married Allen J Brinkerhoff on July 14, 1955.

Together they raised six daughters and one son.  She was an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  She is remembered for her perfect example of selflessness and kindness.

She loved and respected everyone and held a grudge against no one, always quick to forgive.  Like most families, we had our share of difficult and trying times, but none of us could have weathered those storms without Mom’s abiding love.

She was our rock and the glue that held our family together.  As a true disciple of Jesus Christ, she lived her life with real intent, always striving to do what He would have her do, and be what He would have her be for the church, for her community, and most of all, for her family.

She is survived by her loving husband Allen J Brinkerhoff; her seven children Leslie Steward, Valorie (Philip) Santos, Julie (late Dan) Knight, Kathie Brinkerhoff; Walter (Coni Jo) Brinkerhoff, Sally (Clay) Knight Mills, Susan (Carl) Robertson, 25 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren with more on the way.

Funeral services were held February 18th, 2019  at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 220 Maple Drive; Lovelock, Nevada.  Interment followed at the  Big Meadow Cemetery.
