“Jerry” Robert John Quilici, 93, of Winnemucca died May 9, 2019 at Humboldt General Hospital in Winnemucca, NV.

Jerry was born June 5, 1925 in Winnemucca, NV to Vincenzo M. and Annunziata Quilici. He married, the love of his life, Patricia DiAnn Walther on January 15, 1956.

Jerry was a master mechanic.  For many years he loved to help build stock cars.  His expertise was sought and enjoyed by many avid racing friends.

He was always willing to help anyone no matter who they were or what they needed.  Those of you who read this know what we are talking about.

He brought smiles and enthusiasm to everyone he encountered. Jerry had little patience for the slow and many times he would simply take the helm.

He loved horses and horseback riding and watching a good rodeo. Jerry worked for many years at Victory Auto Supply.

In later years he loved “working” the car wash.  His greatest love of his life was his wife of 63 and a half years and his family.

He is survived by his daughters Laura (Michael) Aboud, Nancy Kilpack, and Ruth Ann (Brian) Armstrong; his son Buddy (Tammie) Quilici; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Vincenzo and mother Annunziata Quilici; Brother Joseph and his wife Sally Quilici; Sister Lillian and her husband Don Jones; grandson Bobby Hager and great grandchildren Cody and Cole Kilpack.

He was an active member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.  The family thanks the staff at Humboldt General, Genesis and Olsen’s Drug Store. He will be missed by many.

Services for Jerry will be held Friday, May 17th at St. Paul’s Catholic Church.  Rosary will be at 10:30 and funeral Mass at 11:00.
