In the words of one attorney, it was ‘snowing sideways.’ Nonetheless, the 11th Judicial Court convened with Judge Jim Shirley presiding. DDA Todd Banks argued on behalf of the State of Nevada. Steve Cochran and Kyle Swanson defended their clients.

  • Reno homicide and robbery suspect arrested in McDermitt

    On March 2, 2021, just after 4:00 a.m., 23-year-old Nicholas Silva from McDermitt, NV was arrested on felony eluding charges and is being held on charges from a homicide and subsequent robbery that occurred in Reno hours before his arrest.
