The Lowry High School volleyball team wrapped up its six-week spring season last Friday night in Fallon against Churchill County.

 The match-up was a 3A playoff contest, just a week after the two teams played in Winnemucca to end the regular season.

The two squads won on each others home floor this season.

Churchill County was able to get the win in five sets, in a back-and-forth battle.

The Greenwave won the first set 25-22, only to see the Lady Bucks bounce back to win set two 27-25.

Lowry could not hold on to the momentum, as Churchill County rolled to a 25-10 win in set three.

As it was in set two, play went beyond regulation, with Lowry winning 26-24.

Churchill County prevailed on its home, floor, winning the fifth set 15-9.

Lowry finished the year 1-10 and graduate seven seniors.
