The Winnemucca Junior Golf season came to a close on Wednesday, July 21, as Angelo Bidart shot a score of 81 to win the Jeff Wade Memorial junior golf tournament.

Bob Rice and Rice Jewlers paid for the junior golfers green fees for the tournament.

Landon Esquivel also shot 81, but finished second. Maddux Nichols was third at 90, followed by Cal Peters (97) and Jack DeLong (118).

Katie Cassinelli won the girls 14-to-17-year-old division with a round of 91.

Maite Bengochea led the way in the girls 11-13-year-old division with a round of 58 and Laci Fentress was second at 93.

In the boys 11-13-year-old division, Maddex Hislop shot 41 to win by one stroke over Jayden Robertson (42). 

Conner Neal placed third with a score of 52 and Tate Rost was fourth at 58.

Hadlee Corbitt won the girls 10 and under division with a round of 64 and Karli Rodrigues (91) was second.

Armando Rodriguez won the boys 10 and under division with a score of 48 and Kea Cabatbat (50) placed second. Txendoa Cabatbat was third with a 54, Dusty Vigil finished fourth at 54 and Raylan Neal and Owen Korlaek tied for fifth with rounds of 58. Nolan Monson and Declan Garley each shot 67 and Casen Balaam finished with a 73.
